15th School Day

 Friday, August 31st is Pisgah Nation Day. Wear your Pisgah Nation T-shirt in support of our football team.

National Honor Society applications and money are due by Friday, August 31st.

Any Senior or Sophomore who is interested in running for a class office can pick up an application in the front office. All applications must be picked up by Friday, August 31st.

Anyone interested in joining the PAW club needs to have their $5 dues to Ms. Roseboom by Friday 8/31.

HOSA meeting has been moved to WEDNESDAY morning at 7:30am in D-5.

We are going on a bear hunt for the new Black Bear Mascot. Tryouts will be at 3:15 on Wednesday, August 29 in the lobby. Please see Mrs. Ensley in the Media Center for an application and teacher recommendation.

The Black Bear Book Club will have its first meeting after school today, in B4, Mrs. Hanson’s room. We will be picking our first book of the year and making a reading list. Anyone who likes to read fiction and share with others is welcome to attend.

Students and their parents who are interested in going to Spain: there will be a meeting in Room B13 at 5:30. Representatives will be there to outline the trip and answer your questions.Scholarship information will also be discussed.

Yearbooks are on sale now for $75 until Friday, August 31st. See Mrs. Hanson in B4 to order your tax-free book before the price goes up in September.

Congratulations to the tennis team for their 6-3 victory over Franklin.
