 30th School Day

 Congratulations to Chandler Parris for being selected by Pisgah High School to advance as a school nominee to the next level of consideration for the Morehead-Cain Scholarship at UNC-Chapel Hill.

The FFA Fall picnic will be after school on Thursday, September 27 at 3:30 at the Canton Rec Park. A signup sheet is outside Ms. Hall’s room on the bulletin board. All FFA members are invited to attend.

Any Leo Club member that would like to work with “Music at the Mill” on Saturday needs to see Ms. Morgan sometime tthis week.

Anyone interested in organizing See You at the Pole should meet in C9 today immediately after school. If you are interested in helping but can’t meet please see either Mrs. Squires or Nate Lee for information.

There will be a DECA meeting at 3:00 on Thursday in D8.

Senior Make Up Pictures will be taken tomorrow.

Senior Yearbook Ads are due by Friday. Order forms are available in B4.

The Driver’s Ed 2 week course will begin tomorrow from 3:15 till 4:45 in the Media Center.

Sophomores,Juniors and Seniors can order class rings tomorrow. Jostens will be here during all 3 lunches and from 3 to 6 in A-building.Ring packets are available in the front office.

Guidance Dept. Announcement: (Please read these to your classes, especially seniors)

Any non 12th grader enrolled in Algebra II /H. Algebra II second semester can take the PSAT free. The PSAT will be given on Wednesday, October 17 here at Pisgah High School. Ant other non 12th grader in a higher Math than Algebra II/ Honors II can pay $ 14.oo and take this test. If you have Math second semester, please come by Guidance Dept. by October 10 to get signed up. 11th Graders can qualify for the National Merit Scholarship by scoring high on the PSAT.

Any junior or senior interested in the PGA Golf Management Program at Campbell University, go by the Counseling Center and see Mrs. Mills for an exciting upcoming event!

Any student that is considering Davidson College, go by the Counseling Center and speak to your counselor soon!
