36th School Day

Congratulations to Mary Cooper,Kasey Brown, and Hannah Warren for their wins in the tennis match against Tuscola.

Please dismiss the boys and girls cross country teams at 2:00 today.

Please dismiss the volleyball team at 2:30 today.

Senior Class officers will meet in the library today during 3rd lunch.

All Yankee Candle fundraiser orders are due to Ms. Roseboom by Friday. If you would like to place an order please see her ASAP!

HOSA dues of $20 are due to Mrs. Kuykendall by October 4th.

Students, who will be 16 or older, on or before Nov.6th, can register to vote in the lobby today during lunches.

Josten’s will be here today during lunches to take orders for class rings.Ring packets are available in the front office.

All second semester chorus students are reminded that the deposit for the Disney trip in April is due by tomorrow. See Kendra Medford for more information.

The FFA Fall picnic will be after school today at 3:30 at the Canton Rec Park. All FFA members are invited to attend.

Auto Club will meet today after school in the Auto Shop.You can pick up T-shirts at this time.

Creative Writing Club will meet after school in B5,Ms. Riddle’s room.

Listen up, Black Bears, we’ve got a mission for you! By now, you’ve probably seen the shopping carts all over campus: in the office, the library, your classes. Your job: Fill ’em up! Bring in canned goods & non-perishable items for the Pack the Pantry food drive and let’s pack those carts full!

Guidance Dept. Announcement: (Please read these to your classes, especially seniors)

Seniors – Anyone interested in Gardner-Webb, or anyone that might be interested in competing for a scholarship at Gardner Webb, please go by the Counseling Center and see your Counselor as soon as possible!

Any non 12th grader enrolled in Algebra II /H. Algebra II second semester can take the PSAT free. The PSAT will be given on Wednesday, October 17 here at Pisgah High School. Ant other non 12th grader in a higher Math than Algebra II/ Honors II can pay $ 14.oo and take this test. If you have Math second semester, please come by Guidance Dept. by October 10 to get signed up. 11th Graders can qualify for the National Merit Scholarship by scoring high on the PSAT.
