 Please dismiss the golf team at 12:30 today.

Art Club will meet tomorrow morning at 7:45 in D-2.

Congratulations to the tennis team on there win over North Henderson and Smky. Mtn.

There will be a DECA officer meeting at 3PM on Thursday in D8.

Congratulations to the girls cross country team on their win at Franklin yesterday.

“Tonight is Pisgah Band night at the Zaxby’s in Waynesville. A portion of all profits between 5PM-10PM go to the band. Go out and get some chicken before the JV game at Tuscola.”

The Bach to Broadway Chorus class is taking pre-orders for Krispy Kreme doughnuts and will have doughnuts here for sale on Friday. $5.00 a dozen.

Auto Club will meet Thursday after school. If you ordered a T-shirt please bring your money.

HOSA dues of $20 are due to Mrs. Kuykendall today.

The Creative Writing Club will meet every Thursday after school in B5, Ms. Riddles room.

All items for the Art/Spanish trip are due on Monday, October 8th.

Spirit Shirts are on sale in the Media Center: T-shirts are $13.00 and sweatshirts are $20.00

The Pack the Pantry food drive is winding down, but there’s still time to donate. You can still bring your canned and non-perishable items to your first period through game day, but you can also bring them to the gate at both the JV and varsity football games. We’re in the home stretch, Bears, let’s finish strong and beat those Mounties!

Guidance Dept. Announcement: (Please read these to your classes, especially seniors)

Seniors – Anyone interested in Gardner-Webb, or anyone that might be interested in competing for a scholarship at Gardner Webb, please go by the Counseling Center and see your Counselor as soon as possible!

Governor’s School-Sophomores and juniors who are talented in academic areas or in the performing/visual arts are encouraged to consider applying for Governor’s School 2013.See Mr. Blackburn in the Counseling Center as soon as possible as there are very specific criteria for selection.

Any non 12th grader enrolled in Algebra II /H. Algebra II second semester can take the PSAT free. The PSAT will be given on Wednesday, October 17 here at Pisgah High School. Ant other non 12th grader in a higher Math than Algebra II/ Honors II can pay $ 14.oo and take this test. If you have Math second semester, please come by Guidance Dept. by October 10 to get signed up. 11th Graders can qualify for the National Merit Scholarship by scoring high on the PSAT.
