54th School Day
There will be a mandatory Junior Class officer meeting tomorrow after school in the library.
The ROTC Inspection Ceremony will be held outside today at 10:15.They will have an Army Blackhawk helicopter on campus available for tours after 11:30.
Friday is our last day of Pennies for Patients–please continue to bring in your coins/dollars to help us make LEUKEMIA disappear! We are $4 away from taking down another letter!
“Movement” Youth Rally will be held tonight at 6pm at the Canton Rec. Park.
This is the last week to bring in your new or gently used books to your first period class. Help your 1st period win doughnuts and your 1st period teacher win a gift certificate.
Canton Youth Basketball will have sign-ups this Saturday at the Canton Fire Dept. from 9 to 12. This is for any girl or boy ages 15 and under that would be intrested in playing youth basketball.
The Choral Department Rock & Pop Show is Monday and Tuesday, October 29 & 30 at 7:00 in the auditorium. Tickets are $5.00 and can be purchased from a chorus member or at the door.

The sophomore class officers are presenting the Pisgah Pavement Pounder 5k on Saturday, November 17 at 8:30am. The proceeds will go into a fund to help underprivileged students here at Pisgah. Cost: $20 until 11/14/12 and $25 after 11/14 and until race day.
On Wednesday, October 31st we will be having a dress down day. For only $5 you will receive a pink ribbon and be able to dress down that day. This event is sponsored by Alpha Delta Kappa and all money raised will benefit the Hope Chest, an organization that provides assistance to women with cancer. Please give your donation to Penny Squires or Michelle Mahoney before the 31st and you will receive your pink ribbon.Thanks in advance for all you do.
Students & Staff, the senior class is sponsoring a Children’s Book Drive starting October 9th through October 26th. Please bring in your new or gently used children’s books to your 1st period class for donation to local daycare centers and other children’s groups in Haywood County. The 1st period class that brings in the most books will get doughnuts for breakfast and the teacher will also receive a gift so lets support this senior class project.
