57th School Day

WAY TO GO PISGAH HIGH SCHOOL! CONGRATULATIONS ON ACCOMPLISHING 2 GOALS SET FOR YOU ON FRIDAY– FIRST: we meet our goal of 115 units of blood. We had 118 units collected 135 people presented and 60 were new donors.

SECOND goal met: $400 to make LEUKEMIA disappear. As of Friday we have collected $545.50 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Thanks to all who participated and there are still some boxes out there if you have one please send to D5!

Pisgah Basketball Tryouts will start today. You must have a current Physical before you can participate. Girls tryouts will begin at 5:00 in the health room.SeeCoach Kruk for boys tryout times.

There will be a DECA officer meeting tomorrow at 3pm in D8. All members are welcome to attend.

Students who have registered to attend district DECA competition need to see Mrs. Cragg to pick up a permission slip.

The Choral Department Rock & Pop Show has been rescheduled for Thursday, November 1st and Monday, November 5th at 7:00 in the auditorium.

Any Senior wishing to take the ACT again may sign up for the December ACT administration which will be at Pisgah Saturday, December 8. Interested students must register online NO LATER THAN Friday, November 2 if they wish to avoid the late fee! See your counselor if you have any questions.

Guidance Dept. Announcement: (Please read these to your classes, especially seniors)

CFNC Financial Aid Workshop will be at HCC on Thursday. November 1 at 6:00. Jrs and Seniors are encouraged to attend.

 TEACHERS:(please read during first period.)

The sophomore class officers are presenting the Pisgah Pavement Pounder 5k on

Saturday, November 17 at 8:30am. The proceeds will go into a fund to help underprivileged students here at Pisgah. Cost: $20 until 11/14/12 and $25 after 11/14 and until race day.
