 Congratulations to the Special Olympics 4×100 relay team, tied Tuscola for First place Jason Smith, Austin (big dog Moore,) Tim Stacy and Timmy Burnette. Christian Clark earned 2 gold medals, Tyler Reece earned 3 silver, Jason smith 3 gold, josh Pearman 2 gold and a silver, Timmy burnette 2 gold and 1 silver. Marley Brown 2 silver and 1 bronze. Shyanne Rogers 2 Bronze and a silver.

Ray Rouser will be taking Senior Class Picture orders during all three lunches today.

The Art Club will meet after school tomorrow in D2.

It is not too late to get a yearbook. Please see Mrs. Ensley in the media center before they are all gone.

JV Boys and Girls Basketball Banquet will be Friday at 6:00 Please see Coach Burnette or Coach Hannah today.

There will be an important Leo Club meeting tomorrow at 7:40 in Ms. Morgan’s room, C-2.

Breakfast of Champions participants will report to their schools Wednesday. This will be our last breakfast of the year, so let’s make sure we finish strong!

Prom tickets are now available, you can purchase them in either the front office or from Ms. Squires or Ms.Haider before and after school. The cost is $50 per ticket.

Appeal packets are now available in the front office and are due by May 13th.

The 2 week drivers ed class starts on Tuesday, May 6th. The cost is $55 and you must sign up with Ms. Dills. If you took the exemption test and did not pass, please come by and sign up for this 2 week class.

Prom guest sheets are available in the front office and are due by May 9th.

All first and second semester ROTC students must attend the NJROTC Awards Ceremony on Tuesday 20 May 2014 The ceremony will be held in the school auditorium at 6:00PM. The uniform is the Navy Service Uniform.

Varsity and JV cheer tryouts will begin Tuesday, May 13th. Tryout packets are available in the Media Center from Mrs. Ensley.This also includes the Black Bear Mascot tryout.

Attention juniors! The last SAT ( which will be at Tuscola ) and the last ACT of the year will be in June. Registration for these tests is online and the registration deadline for both is May 9! If you have any questions please see your counselor.

Guidance Dept. Announcement: (Please read these to your classes, especially seniors)

Seniors: PLEASE bring a copy of any scholarships or award letters you receive to your counselor (even if you do not plan to attend that college). Students who receive scholarships or awards will be recognized at our annual Awards Night, May 19 at 7 PM and will be listed in the graduation program; we also keep a total of scholarship monies earned by each graduating class. We would like to recognize all seniors for their hard work, so please let us know AS SOON AS POSSIBLE what you have received so that we can accurately document this information.

Any student interested in lifeguard certification information thru MedWest can come by the front office.

The WilsonArt in Fletcher is accepting applications for summer employment – they are looking for students that are 18 and will be going to a two year or four year college in the fall. If you are interested you can pick up an application from Mr. Godfrey.
