Students & Parents:
Your first stop for the latest Scholarship News and Updates should be your Senior Google Classroom page. This is the “one stop shop” where we post valuable resources to you throughout the year. We also publish every valid national, regional, and local scholarship in classroom that comes through the Pisgah High School Counseling Center.. The greatest majority of these scholarships are either completely online or contain a key component that must be completed online. The Senior Classroom page is set up to be as efficient for the student as possible. When you are logged into your @student.haywood.k12.nc.us account, please click here to join the page. Students in grades 9-11 are encouraged to join the Plan Your Future page, which has opportunities available for these grade levels without the particular Sr. year communications.
In addition to this page, we do recommend setting up a Going Merry account as an option to access a broader selection of scholarships that we may not know to publish. You may also use this account as a type of “Common App” for scholarships, where you can create a profile one time and apply for many scholarships throughout the year! There is more information about Going Merry as well as how it works on their website, as well as inside both classroom pages.
You may also visit the links below, which are all reputable sites for researching scholarships. Please be wary of any site(s) that require a fee to join or require a subscription as these are sketchy and will likely take your money and send you spam.
