Pisgah Bears,
Much of the news related to COVID-19 has been positive in recent weeks, and we are extremely proud of our faculty, staff, and students for their work and responsible behavior throughout the pandemic. While we are extremely optimistic about the return of students on campus full time, now is not the time to let our guard down. As a reminder to students and employees, face coverings are still required on the campus of Pisgah High School.
Pisgah High School will return to full capacity starting Tuesday, March 23rd. There will no longer be a blended, A Week/B Week Schedule. In-person students will now attend school everyday. (Monday, March 22nd will continue to be a remote learning workday.)
As we make plans to return to full capacity it is important to keep the following things in mind:
- Everyone must wear a mask while on Pisgah High School campus
- Everyone must screen when entering campus. Screening stations are at the following locations:
- J Lot (on the steps)
- A Lot (outside the office)
- D Lot
- Bus Lot (only for students riding the bus)
- If TARDY early in the AM, report to B-16 (ISS) to sign in and screen
- If Checking In, later in the day, screening will happen at guard shack then sign in at B-16 (ISS)
- During lunch make sure that you are practicing social distancing while eating with your mask off.
- When driving on campus you must leave out of the lot that you parked in.
- Continue to wash and sanitize your hands frequently.
Any student who wishes to change their learning environment from remote to in-person or in-person to remote will need to do so by contacting an administrator. The window to make these changes will close Friday, March 26th. If you wish to change from a remote student to an in-person student, please let us know as soon as possible so we can make the needed arrangements.
As always, we want to thank everyone for their ongoing support of the Pisgah Family, which has never been more important than it is today.
Go Bears!
