34th School Day

Students, who will be 16 or older, on or before Nov.6th, can register to vote in the lobby during lunches on Thursday, Sept. 27th.

Josten’s will be here on Thursday,Sept.27th during lunches to take orders for class rings.If you didn’t have a chance to order last week this is your chance.

There will be an FFA Meeting after school today in Ms.Hall’s shop.

The drivers education class will be in the Media Center after school today.

Art Club Members dues are due by this Friday if you want a T-shirt.

All second semester chorus students are reminded that the deposit for the Disney trip in April is due by Friday, September 28th. See Kendra Medford for more information.

The FFA Fall picnic will be after school on Thursday, September 27 at 3:30 at the Canton Rec Park. A signup sheet is outside Ms. Hall’s room on the bulletin board. All FFA members are invited to attend.

Environthon Team will have a meeting tomorrow morning at 7:30.

Underclassmen & Faculty Make Up Pictures will be taken today in the Media Center.

The Pack the Pantry Food Drive is on! Tuscola won the trophy last year, and we want to take it from them. Help us do that by bringing canned or non-perishable goods to your first period. Let’s beat those Mounties and help out the Community Kitchen at the same time!

Creative Writing Club will meet on Thursday, Sept. 27th in B5,Ms. Riddle’s room.

Junior class officers will meet with Mrs. Squires in C9 on Thursday, September 27 at 7:40 am.

See You at the Pole will be held tomorrow morning at 7:30. Participants involved need to be there by 7:15. If you have any questions,see Mrs. Squires or Nate Lee.

Guidance Dept. Announcement: (Please read these to your classes, especially seniors)

Any non 12th grader enrolled in Algebra II /H. Algebra II second semester can take the PSAT free. The PSAT will be given on Wednesday, October 17 here at Pisgah High School. Ant other non 12th grader in a higher Math than Algebra II/ Honors II can pay $ 14.oo and take this test. If you have Math second semester, please come by Guidance Dept. by October 10 to get signed up. 11th Graders can qualify for the National Merit Scholarship by scoring high on the PSAT.
