35th School Day

Please dismiss the Golf Team at 12:00 today.

Students, who will be 16 or older, on or before Nov.6th, can register to vote in the lobby during lunches tomorrow.

Josten’s will be here tomorrow during lunches to take orders for class rings.Ring packets are available in the front office.

Art Club Members dues are due by this Friday if you want a T-shirt.

All second semester chorus students are reminded that the deposit for the Disney trip in April is due by Friday, September 28th. See Kendra Medford for more information.

The FFA Fall picnic will be after school tomorrow at 3:30 at the Canton Rec Park. A signup sheet is outside Ms. Hall’s room on the bulletin board. All FFA members are invited to attend.

Auto Club will meet tomorrow afterschool in the Auto Shop.You can pick up your T-shirts at this time.

The Pack the Pantry Food Drive is on! Tuscola won the trophy last year, and we want to take it from them. Help us do that by bringing canned or non-perishable goods to your first period. Let’s beat those Mounties and help out the Community Kitchen at the same time!

Creative Writing Club will meet tomorrow afternoon in B5,Ms. Riddle’s room.

Junior class officers will meet with Mrs. Squires in C9 tomorrow morning at 7:40 am.

Guidance Dept. Announcement: (Please read these to your classes, especially seniors)

Seniors – Anyone interested in Gardner-Webb, or anyone that might be interested in competing for a scholarship at Gardner Webb, please go by the Counseling Center and see your Counselor as soon as possible!

Any non 12th grader enrolled in Algebra II /H. Algebra II second semester can take the PSAT free. The PSAT will be given on Wednesday, October 17 here at Pisgah High School. Ant other non 12th grader in a higher Math than Algebra II/ Honors II can pay $ 14.oo and take this test. If you have Math second semester, please come by Guidance Dept. by October 10 to get signed up. 11th Graders can qualify for the National Merit Scholarship by scoring high on the PSAT.
